We care more than you'd care to know.

Duncan

Duncan first gained exposure to woodworking and industrial design via his father, growing up. Fast forward to completing his BFA with a concentration in jewelry, Duncan found himself spending lots of time at a forge. It was here he made his first knife. From that moment onward, he combined his training and experiences with his affinity for food and cooking, resulting in kitchen knives that not only deliver performance, but aesthetic appeal.

In the nine years following, Duncan has embraced the title of bladesmith. His knives are in the hands of award winning chefs, beautiful restaurants, and committed home cooks around the world —his eagerness to push the boundaries of design and ergonomics continues to create an unwavering connection between a chef and their knife.

Luke

Life-long friends, Duncan and Luke brought H&H online in 2014. Luke is our branding iron. He handles most of what you see here—snapping delicious photos of our knives in their natural habitats, and delivering objectivity when it comes to design and product development.

Parker

Parker joined H&H in 2021 part-time while working as a sous chef in Nashville. Parker spent 6 years in various restaurants as a commis chef. During these years, he spent many hours learning the finer points on the use and maintenance of a chefs knife. You’ll usually find Parker at the shop with a knife in his hand shaping, sharpening, or polishing.
